What is collected

One thing: your email address, and only if you type it into the newsletter form. Alongside it we store which page you signed up from, so we can tell what people actually find useful, and the date.

The site counts page views, using Vercel Web Analytics. It records that a page was opened and roughly where in the world from, and it does that without a cookie and without any identifier that follows you between visits or to anyone else’s site. It is how Ella can tell which outfits people actually read. Nothing else. No tracking pixel, no advertising network, nothing sold or shared, and no profile built about you. The only cookie set anywhere is the sign-in session for the private studio, which is used by Ella and by nobody visiting the site.

Where it goes

Your address is stored in a database hosted in Frankfurt, inside the EU. When a newsletter provider is connected it will also be sent there so the emails can actually be delivered; until then it is only held here.

The site is served by Vercel, which keeps ordinary server logs, the same kind any website produces, including IP addresses, for a limited period.

Things that load from elsewhere

The Watch page embeds a TikTok feed, which loads from TikTok and can see that your browser requested it. Product links on look pages go to LTK, an affiliate network. If you buy something after following one, Ella earns a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are marked as affiliate links wherever they appear.

Having it removed

Email contact@chicreboot.com and ask. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no form to fill in. You can also ask what is held about you, which will be your address, where you signed up and when.
